CherryHill Orchard is eager to announce that they will once again be hosting their annual Cherry Picking Festival! Enjoy fresh cherries, food and drink trucks, live music and warm summer weather at this family-friendly festival.

What is the Event?

The CherryHill Orchard Cherry Picking Festival is back, and it seems to be cherr-ific! Beginning on 14th November, guests will be allowed on the 100-acre Yarra Valley orchard to pick from thousands of fresh, ripe cherries.

Upon entering the festival, guests are encouraged to pick and eat as many cherries as possible. The cherries are then weighed and charged per kilogram upon departure for the guests to take home.

This year, CherryHill has incorporated a wide range of cherry-flavoured products and preserves into the event, such as cherry vinaigrette, sweet cherry syrup, cherry BBQ sauce and cherry glaze. Guests are able to take these home and enjoy their favourite flavours of summer all year long.

In addition to cherry-picking, the event will host on-site food trucks, live music and gorgeous views of the vista for visitors to enjoy. Some of the products in the food trucks include CherryHills’ famous cherry flavoured ice cream, a collaboration with Lavezzi Gelato. They are also featuring cherry flavoured cocktails for adults and cherry bubble tea, a collaboration with Top Tea.

The event will run on different dates between two different locations:

14 November – 24 December: Coldstream (739 Maroondah Hwy, Coldstream)

26 November – 8 January: Wandin East (474 Queens Rd, Wandin East)

The Orchard is open 7 days a week excluding Christmas day.

The Packages

CherryHill is also offering elegant packages this year for finer dining experiences:

Another fun food experience is the “Cherries and Wine” package in collaboration with Rochford wines. The package is located in the Coldstream Orchard and includes an afternoon of wine tasting, followed by a two-course lunch paired with a glass of wine. Following your meal, head down to the orchard to engage in cherry picking. You will be given a grab and go box as well, which allows you and your guest to take home as many cherries as your heart desires.

Cherries & Ballooning

The last package available is a once-in-a-lifetime VIP excursion. CherryHill has teamed up with Global Ballooning to create a package for all of the adventure-seekers out there.
